Toru, Fumiyo, and Madoka - I just learned today from Deborah Snider that you are returning to the Bay Area at the end of the month. I recall meeting you for the first time at your Open Studio tour in 2007. Now I am regretting not going to more of your events in the last two years. With whom will I now practice my Japanese? I hope I can join your pot-luck farewell on Friday.
You encouraged me to exhibit my works. I have been blessed with three events this summer/fall: a current show at city hall, an exhibit at The Great Frame Up in August, at the Art Center in September and October, and ending with my own Open Studio in October. Thanks for that gentle nudge that gave me the courage to take that leap and let others share my works.
