登り龍/Rising Dragon, Sumi-ink on Xuan paper

In Japan, dragons have been revered as deities of water, symbolizing waterfalls, rivers, and the source of life since ancient times. This dragon ascends with momentum, clutching a jewel known as NyoiHogyoku, said to fulfill all wishes, as it swiftly climbs up the waterfall.
